Hi QueenTiye,

"Wow - no response?
Ah ... ok, sorry about that - Mark and I have been really busy recently, so I apologise for the delay. As we work on Patience Revisited in our spare time, sometimes it can be tricky for us to get time to work on it.

"I encounter this with games that permit you to move builds, most recently Freecell. Sometimes the game won't allow you to move a build - you have to unbuild it to move the cards. Sometimes it moves other builds but not the stuck one
The way moving builds works is that it has a look to see how many free empty spaces you have in the foundations - eg if you have 4 foundation spaces empty, and you want to move a build with 5 cards in it, it will let you do that - since it knows that it can store the top 4 cards in the foundations temporarily, then move the 5th card to it's destination, then move the 4 cards back down off the foundations again. But, if you try and move a build with 6 cards in it, it won't let you do that automatically, you have to figure out how to do it yourself manually (which will be different depending on the rules for whichever game you are playing). So, as you can see, the automatic moving of builds is a bit simplistic, but doing anything a bit cleverer automatically would be a lot of effort for us, writing code to do this sort of stuff is tricky!
Hope that helps explain how moving stacks works.
Thanks for your question!
