This release includes a number of things, as follows:
You can now add or remove a game from your "Favourites" list at the time you are viewing a list of games in the Choose New Game menu option. Just tap on the star symbol next to the game to add or remove the game to or from your favourites list. If the star is lit up, the game is in your favourites. If it is not lit up, that game is not currently in your favourites list. You can still add and remove the current game using the 'add' and 'remove' menu item, if you prefer to do it that way.
A number of people have reported that the statistics text that appears on the top Toolbar was not being displayed correctly, it was being chopped off. This release includes a fix to correct that problem
Yet another crash has been encountered by some people, when the device tries to update the text in the toolbar, sometimes it fails. This should also be fixed now.
I hope those fixes help !
New release v1.5.2

There are a number of changes in this release that have been a long time coming, and it's good to be able to finally get them done.
Here they are:
Large card rank numbers are back! A few releases ago, the card style was enhanced to add an ability to give a "detailed" appearance to card faces, by adding all the little pips, which looked really nice on high resolution devices. Unfortunately, along the way the size of the card rank was reduced, for some hi-resolution devices. With this release, it's back again! We have done this by adding a new option to "card style" in the preferences. I hope you like it!
You can now have a list of your "Favourite" games! I've always wanted to add a favourites list, and finally we've managed to get it in there. It works by keeping a list of your own favourite games, which is added to using the menu option "Add to Favourites". Then, the next time you choose a new game, you can choose from your favourites list! To remove a game from your favourites, while you are playing it, select the menu item "Remove from favourites"
Added a confirm yes/no before loading or saving a game from or to SD Card. That way it stop you accidently overwriting your current game and all your stats.
Fixed a crash when statistics are viewed, on some devices.
Fixed a crash when tapping on the menu, on some Samsung devices. For those of you who are interested, Samsung does some non-standard things on Android, and when it has issues on old devices, it doesn't fix them! So us developers have to tear out our hair trying to figure out how to get around these issues. Grrrr!
Fix an issue where menu icon not coloured correctly on some devices. Colours and styles on Android are a mess. Google keeps changing the way Android works, and the device manufacturers do things differently, with the result that most devices are different to each other. So getting a fairly simple app like Patience revisited to run properly on all devices can be a nightmare. Sigh. Sorry about the rant!
I hope you like the new release!
It's been a while since Patience revisited has had some major work done on it (we only have a limited amount of free time to do this!) so it's been really good to be able to make some progress on some of these outstanding issues.

This release fixes a bug where the "detailed" card style was not being activated when the "Detailed" preference option was chosen. Now it's fixed !
Thank you to those people who reported this.
New release v1.5.0

At long last, release v1.5.0 has been published. It has been a long time in the making, and contains some fixes and features that a lot of people have been hanging out for, so I'm greatly relieved to have finally found the time to finish testing it and get it released. The big things in this release are:
Fix for menus not working in newer Samsung devices. (Thank you Samsung, for doing things differently to everyone else)
Updated lots of core functionality to work smoothly on new versions of Android, yet be backward compatible with old OS versions as well. Note that we have had to stop supporting Android 1.5 and 1.6. Those versions are just impossible to support, and are extremely rare nowadays anyway. Any existing installs of 1.5 and 1.6 will continue to work unaffected
Added 7 new games! Yippee! They are: Storehouse, Chameleon, American Toad, Gate, Napoleon, Kleine Napoleon and Algerian Patience
Some minor fixes to some games
I hope that this release works well for everyone, if not, let us know and we'll see what we can do!
New release v1.4.3

This release, v1.4.3 fixes a problem where on some devices, the menu icon is not working, or the menu icon does not appear at all. Sorry about that! It just goes to show that there are so many different Android devices out there now, and it's not easy developing an app that will work well on all of them.
