    TriPeaks Force-close problem ... found!

PostDateIcon | PostAuthorIconWritten by Steve Moseley

Mark has just found the cause of the problem that people were having with a force close when playing TriPeaks. It seems that it is caused when TriPeaks is played in left-handed mode, but is ok in right-handed mode.

I will be releasing a new version leter on today to fix it, but if you have this problem now, in the interim if you uninstall and reinstall, then run TriPeaks in right-handed mode it will be ok.

A big "sorry" to everyone out there who has been affected by this!!

    New release v1.1.2

Hopefully this release will fix our biggest concern at the moment, which is force-closes caused by out-of-memory when manipulating images.

We have incorporated three fixes which will help the phone manage it's memory more effectively, and also reduce the total amount of memory we use.

Also, we will be collecting more info about the memory status, when users send problem reports to us after a force-close.

    Force Closes ?!?

PostDateIcon | PostAuthorIconWritten by Steve Moseley

We have had reports on Android Market recently of the app force-closing for some people, sometimes repeatedly!

I'm really sorry about this, the last thing we want is for you guys to experience crashes. We have tracked down some out-of-memory issues related to the way we manage card and background images, and we believe that that's what's causing the problems. We have a plan on how to fix these problems, and will release a patch version, v1.1.2 as soon as we possibly can.

If you have this problem happen to you, please email us with whatever details you can provide, this will help us track down and squash this nasty bug.

    New release v1.1.1

PostDateIcon | PostAuthorIconWritten by Steve Moseley

This is a bugfix release, mainly to fix some issues with the rules in TriPeaks and Golf where Kings couldn't be placed on Queens for certain game options. Also, in certain circumstances, a game wasn't recorded as being won when autoplay was selected from the menu. Also there were a couple of minor bugs in Golf and in displaying rules for Baker's Dozen.

So overall, not a big release, but important to fix those nasty, nasty bugs.
